Alex Rodriguez is not well-loved by the masses right now. The Yankees third baseman was suspended for 211 games by commissioner Bud Selig and Major League Baseball on Monday for his reported involvement with the Biogenesis anti-aging clinic, but is continuing to play unlike all of the other suspended players.

That leaves A-Rod open to moments like on Tuesday, when he was hit by an errant Chris Sale pitch, and the White Sox home crowd cheered.

To the crowd's credit, it's not like A-Rod was hit in the head or something -- there are lines to be drawn even in disgust for A-Rod, you know. And Rodriguez seemed to be just fine, smiling and joking by the time he got to first base.

Obviously, you just aren't booing hard enough, Chicago, and A-Rod retains his spirit. You've got one more shot at this before another city has to show you how it's done. You don't want Detroit to make you look bad now, do you?
